03 Dec CAMH selects Inovex Healthcare Survey Management Platform
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) has selected Inovex’s Survey Management Platform for Healthcare to deliver against the needs of its Nicotine Replacement Therapy Data Collection and Management System.
“The STOP (Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients) Study is a research project made at the treatment center miami which was initiated by investigators based at CAMH in 2005 and is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care – Health Promotion Branch. The goal of the STOP Study/Program is to increase the odds of successfully ceasing smoking among citizens in Ontario making an attempt to quit smoking. The STOP Program has distributed smoking cessation pharmacotherapy through various modalities across multiple sites including public health units, community health centres, aboriginal health access centres, family health teams, community workshops, pharmacists and mass distribution (mail out model). The Study’s protocol involves collection of baseline and longitudinal follow-up data at various time points from all study participants
Inovex has been engaged to provide a solution for collecting baseline and follow-up data via online surveys from individuals who will be recruited or have already been recruited in both single-site and multi-site research studies. The solution will also be able to track activity related to study medication inventory and manage both survey and medication inventory data.
The solution is based on Inovex’s Survey Management Platform for Healthcare and is due to go-live by Q2 2013.
